Many of our fans know that Galpin Auto Sports (G.A.S.) specializes in customizing and remodeling cars specifically for their drivers – in fact they were the featured shop in seasons 5 and 6 of MTVs Pimp My Ride, the show that brought car modifying and restoring to mainstream cable.

But today we are featuring some of the amazing cars that will be featured at their 4th Annual Galpin Car Show this Sunday, September 20th (10am – 3pm) right here in the San Fernando Valley! Besides hundreds of show cars that have already registered you will get to see some awesome movie classic cars and extremely rare automobiles! We hope to see you all there!

This Honda S2000 was driven by actress Devon Aoki in the opening sequence of the 2003 Universal film, 2 Fast 2 Furious, a movie that offers a glimpse into the lifestyle and excesses of some modern day tuner car aficionados.Painted a custom shade of pink, the roadster was equipped with a special ground effects kit and 18-inch rims for the scene in which it jumps a bridge. The George Barris Batmobile – Designed exclusively for the hit 1966 “Batman” TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward. This automotive wonder was styled and engineered with the many different special effects innovations by Barris Kustom Industries. Yes! The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo! The animated version remains a mystery as some versions had rear engines which would suggest a VW or Corvair Van. Others were plainly modeled on the Chevy G10. Check out this version live and see what you think!mystery machine

Elvira’s Macabre Mobile – a beautifully customized black 1959 Ford Thunderbird which was completely restored by the legendary George Barris and features a spider web grill, faux leopard skin upholstery and handmade chrome hood ornaments.MY SICK RIDE ELVIRA CAR

The Shah of Persia’s Bugatti, which was actually a wedding gift from France. The French Government commissioned the best talent within their country to provide a gift for the Shah’s wedding. To create one of most extravagant cars to come from their country, France chose Van Vooren and Bugatti. Using the flowing lines of Figoni et Falaschi as inspiration, Van Vooren worked upon chassis #57808, a low slung Bugatti Type 57C. 2015 Ford Mustang Galpin Rocket: A 725-hp, Fisker-Designed carbon-bodied showstopper that introduced Henrik Fisker to a whole new generation of Mustang sick ride galpin rocket

And of course the Galpin Ford GTR1 – 1024 horsepower and 739 ft-lbs of torque! An amazing limited production mid-engine sports car developed and built by Galpin Auto Sports.
